Fresh mountain air, sunny days by the lake: summer in See.

Rewarding walks high in the mountains, a cool swim in the lake nearby and long, easy evenings around the big dining table. Haus Lina is the perfect base for unforgettable summer days together in the Paznaun valley.

Walking & biking in the Paznaun valley

Routes start from See at every grade — from an easy wander across the alpine pastures to demanding hut-to-hut tours in the mighty Verwall and Silvretta ranges. Better still: the lifts at Bergbahnen See and Kappl run in summer too.

Straight from the village you will also find the finest mountain bike trails and forest roads. Feeling adventurous? Go paragliding and take in that mountain scenery from above.

Mountain adventures for kids

At the top station in See lies the magical Seebi’s Bärenwelt adventure park, with climbing frames for every age and a wonderfully refreshing little mountain lake. For real action, hop on a mountain cart and race back down the forest road — for many children the highlight of the week.

Down at the Badesee you can easily hire stand-up paddleboards for hours on the water.

Tip: check height and age limits with the provider beforehand.

A swim in See’s village lake

The Badesee is approximately 1 km from the house, around a 15-minute walk on a route suitable for pushchairs. Lake admission is charged separately and is not included in the Silvretta Card Premium.

Scenic drives & mountain passes

Explore the mountain roads around the region by car, motorbike or road bike. Plan the longer routes as day trips and check road openings before setting off.

The Silvretta High Alpine Road is currently closed to through traffic between Tyrol and the Montafon. Access from the Tyrolean side is possible according to the operator’s current opening information; check the latest status before planning your route.

Silvretta Card Premium included

Through the summer months every Haus Lina guest gets the Silvretta Card Premium free of charge. It covers participating mountain lifts and regional public transport at no extra cost, and brings a set of discounts and benefits — on bike transport, for instance.

Worth knowing: check the current benefits and lift operating times in advance. Admission to the Badesee is not included.

Autumn colours & mountain walks at their best

Autumn turns the valley into a run of colour and brings its own traditional events with it. Thinking of coming in the autumn? Check the current programme and the lift opening times first.

A booking note for summer: in the summer season we ask for a minimum stay of three nights.
